Francis E. "Dixie" Dunbar served as head men's cross country and track & field coach at Haverford for 10 years. He was also the College's Mechanical Superintendent.

The Haverford College men s cross country team was named one of the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association 2015 Division III Men s All-Academic Teams as announced by the organization.
