HARTFORD CITY, IN – Kyle Anderson was named the Crossroads League Runner of the Week for his efforts at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids this past weekend. This marks the second Runner of the Week honor for the Milan, Michigan native. Anderson was the top finisher for the Crossroads League in the field of 387 runners and his time of 24:59.97 placed him fifth in the race overall. Anderson's high finish also led the Cougars to an 11th place finish among the 39 school at the meet. The Cougar Harriers will be aiming for a strong finish to their season at the Crossroads League Championships on November 9 in Winona Lake, Indiana which is hosted by Grace College. Junior Kelley Riffenburgh was a consistent performer for the women's cross country team as the Fords finished 17th nationally in 2013.Read the full article at: www.saucougars.com
