Haverford joined Villanova as the only area school with multiple selections to the academic all-area team with its two national qualifiers being named to the team for the second straight season.

Katie Sullivan and Claire Sargent were both named USTFCCCA All-Mideast Region performers for their results during the outdoor track & field season.

Sullivan is already a two-time All-American on the indoor surface and will be making her seventh combined appearance at the NCAA Championships between the three running seasons.

A Varsity Cup recipient, Sullivan was making her seventh appearance at an NCAA Championship event during her running career on Thursday.

Sullivan ran a personal time of 4:30.71 during the 1,500 meters at Swarthmore on Monday night and now ranks seventh in all of Division III for that event during this outdoor season.

A total of 114 Haverford College student-athletes were named to the Centennial Conference's Spring Academic Honor Roll.

The Fords have 19 entrants among the projected scorers on the performance list, the third most of any school entering championship weekend.

Unique Tuberville placed fifth in the hammer throw, while Sarah Wade finished sixth in the 10,000 meter race.

The Fords are currently in fifth place in the team standings heading into the final day of competition.

Haverford placed fifth overall with 81 total points at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
