Haverford joined Villanova as the only area school with multiple selections to the academic all-area team with its two national qualifiers being named to the team for the second straight season.

The Fords have won at least two individual titles during 17 of the conference's 25 championships and have finished first or second as a team on 19 occasions.

Haverford's Nicole Giannetti, Amelia Keyser-Gibson, Sophie Drew, Molly Hawkins, Jolie Jaycobs, and Hannah Yeakey were honored with the accolade in the Mideast Region.

The Fords continued to achieve in the classroom and on the playing field as they were once again well represented on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter season.

The Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place from Saturday, February 24 through Sunday, February 25 at Ursinus.

The Fords have five scoring performances on Day 1 of the Centennial Conference indoor track & field championships and sent two more runners into Sunday's event finals.

Haverford placed second as a team with a number of scoring individuals as the final standings were not decided until a thrilling finish in the 4x400 relay.

The Fords will next be in action at the Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at Ursinus next Saturday and Sunday.

Nicole Giannetti turned in the second fastest 5,000 meter indoor time in program history and currently ranks 16th in the NCAA after her performance on Saturday.

Giannetti ran the second fastest 5,000 meter indoor race in program history and currently ranks 17th in the NCAA for that event.
